**Lecturer - Hospitality**

**Hours - 35 per week**

**Salary - £30,401 - £41,151**

**Location - Altrincham**

The Trafford College Group (TCG) has an opportunity for an Hospitality lecturer to join the **hospitality team **to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.

**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity to be part of a successful team, to coordinate the real working environment of the restaurant and to teach on a range of courses at all levels within the hospitality section. Providing administrative support to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient programs. This would suite a multi skilled hospitality professional.

**About you**:
This role would be suitable for someone who has a proven track record working within the hospitality industry. Experience in teaching is essential across a variety of courses, this may also suit a trainer assessor who is looking for a teaching role. The department has a strong reputation and works a host of Hospitality employers. Excellence is at the core of the department. Progression and imaginative thinking are always embraced.

**Responsibilities**:
1. To effectively plan, prepare and teach on a range of courses within the section, mark and assess students work, including examinations, contributing to the management of learning/curriculum programs.

2. To manage the food and beverage service operations

3. To ensure security of the environment and stock.

4 To deliver on a variety of programs including culinary skills and Knowledge.

6. To manage spending and income in the restaurant

7 To assess student development through individual action plans.

8 To take an active part in the quality assurance and planning process within the sector.

9. To work closely with employers looking at the future of T levels.
