Salary**:£26,062 - £30,199**

We are actively searching for **Intervention Tutor - Maths and English **to join our **English and Maths department **at our **Twelve Quays Campus **for **35 hours per week. **We will offer a salary of **up to £30,199 **per year plus many added incentives including:

**About the Job**
- **To support Maths & English delivery across the college by liaising with vocational colleagues to ensure that learners identified as requiring intervention with regards to Maths & English are effectively supported to achieve. This includes acting as the main point of contact for external Maths & English tuition providers and scheduling adhoc intervention sessions with small groups.**

**You will deliver the following objectives to the highest standard**:
**To act as the liaison between Wirral Metropolitan College and external tuition providers**

**To communicate effectively with a range of vocational curriculum areas so they are regularly updated on the progress and attendance to intervention sessions**

**To arrange and effectively deliver targeted intervention sessions for Mathematics & English at both Functional Skills and GCSE level**

**About You**
- **Hold a specialist Level 3 Maths qualification or Level 3 English qualification (preference is given to those with a mathematical background)**:

- **Have experience of developing and delivering customised, differentiated learning materials and/or innovative curriculum and learning materials which meet the needs of students.**:

- **Be able to demonstrate the ability to develop, plan, deliver and evaluate high quality, motivational and inclusive maths/English learning experiences.
