Junior Land Surveyor

**Centara Ltd** are a surveying business based in **Normanton, West Yorkshire** working for a variety of prestigious clients throughout the UK. We are currently looking to expand our survey team with the addition of a **Junior Land Surveyor.** This role is **permanent**, working 40 hours (Monday to Friday). Overtime and unsociable hours working may be required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting our Land Surveyors in data collection though multiple practices:

- Topographical Surveys & Terrain modelling
- Measured Building and 3D scanning
- Learning to process data in survey software and finalise in AutoCAD
- Undertaking any other activities required to help our land surveyors complete their works
- Completing site documentation for site work crews
- Learning technical knowledge to further develop into a land surveying career
- Drafting data or help finalising reports.
- Other duties that may include organising equipment and store room, van checks and keeping equipment maintained.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Strong work ethic and desiring to learn new skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Reasonable IT Skills
- Flexibility of working away from home and occasionally out of hours

**Advantageous**
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Experience using Microsoft software such as Excel, Word etc
- GCSE in mathematics
- Already have an understand/knowledge of surveying principals.
