ABurnet is a high quality têxtile product manufacturer and plays a leading role in researching, developing and delivering innovative hair containment solutions across the world. Our solutions are delivered globally and we are managing continued significant growth with sites in the UK and Sri Lanka.

We are looking for a Quality Checker preferably with a background in either têxtiles or food with experience of visual high speed repetitive inspection techniques.

This is a production environment targeted position with a large number of pieces to be inspected every day.

Working to set SOP's, you will be responsible for ensuring quality checks are implemented in line with collection/delivery schedules, whilst also fulfilling label and packing supplies to the production team for order/stock fulfilment.

**Hours**:
Working 42.5 hours per week, 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday

**Key deliverables include**:

- Responsible for conducting QC inspections and completing Quality forms in line with SOP's
- Ensuring work is booked out and booked in accurately and on time, in line with delivery and collection schedules
- Keeping up to date, complete and accurate logs of stored samples
- Log, pack and despatch samples
- Log, pack and despatch samples
- Ensure production team are fully supplied with all packing requirements for continuous production with no down time
- Audit finished stocks
- Assisting with producing defect display boards
- Ensuring mandatory documentation is up to date

**Person Specification**:

- High Speed Quality/Manufacturing background and excellent attention to detail
- Good Dexterity
- Strong written/communication skills
- Experience of QC/QA preferable
- Ability to work within strict procedures and processes
- Computer literate (MS Office)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 42.5 per week
