Traffic Marshall/banksman

Job Title: Traffic Marshall

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct and control traffic flow on construction sites or other designated areas
- Ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles by guiding them through designated routes
- Communicate with drivers and pedestrians using hand signals, flags, or two-way radios
- Monitor and enforce traffic regulations and site-specific safety rules
- Report any incidents, accidents, or violations to the appropriate personnel
- Assist in the setup and removal of traffic cones, signs, and barricades as needed
- Maintain a high level of alertness and attention to detail at all times

Qualifications:

- Valid Traffic Marshall certification or similar training preferred and CSCS Card
- Proven experience as a Traffic Marshall or in a similar role is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to give clear directions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions accurately

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6-8 weeks

**Salary**: £15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Macclesfield: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS Card (required)
- Traffic Marshall/Banksman Card (required)
