Job description

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Finance & Import Administrator to join their team based in Kings Lynn on a full-time, permanent basis.

**Role Summary**:
**Main Responsibilities**:

- To organize the importation freight arrangements for supplies from national, EU and worldwide Suppliers.
- Liaising with Hauliers & Freight Agents to ensure shipping/delivery based on cost and delivery schedule requirement.
- Collate all necessary documents relating to Shipments.
- Processing UK Customer Sales, including Despatch & Sales Invoicing.
- Update and maintain the HMRC Plastic Packaging database.
- Review all Plastic Packaging Documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure all entered Customs/ Plastic - and Waste Packing information is correct.
- Complete the HMRC Plastic Packaging records and paperwork checklist to ensure Compliance is met.
- Carry out basic bookkeeping duties.
- Covering for the Logistics/Production and the Finance Administrator during holiday and absence the above list is an indication of the range of responsibilities but is not exhaustive, however full training will be given.

**Person Specification**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with NAV 365 advantageous but not essential.
- Handling basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Well organised team player who is able to organise own workload and be able to work under own initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve strict deadlines.

**Working Hours**:

- Monday - Friday 08:00 - 4:00 **OR** Monday - Friday 08:30 - 14:30 (Full time or part time offered).
