**Role - Technical Clerk**
**Duration - Initial 3 Month Contract**
**Location - On-site in Blyth (NE24)**
**Working Hours - 10 Hour Days**
BTS are seeking a dedicated Technical Clerk to support one of our key clients in Blyth. As a Technical Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all technical documentation, reports and data are accurate and up to date in support of the delivery of site fabrication scopes of work to support the delivery of a large-scale wind farm project. You will work on-site, directly contributing to the success of this ambitious venture on a contract basis.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in managing technical documentation related to site fabrication projects.
- Maintain records of project specifications, reports, and technical data.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Support in the organization of on-site activities and technical resources.
- Perform administrative tasks to facilitate project communication and coordination.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and diagrams to aid in project coordination and documentation.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a similar site-based Technical Clerk, Document Controller or Technical Administration role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Knowledge of site fabrication, wind or renewable energy projects is a plus but not mandatory.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: £150.00-£300.00 per day
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Construction: 3 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 3 years (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
