The current Chief Executive is retiring in May 2023 and we are looking for a senior leader experienced in the NHS / Primary Care to succeed him. This is a great opportunity to lead a dynamic team providing support and services to 5 LMCs in one of the largest LMC groupings in the UK.

The Chief Executive works closely with the 5 LMC Chairs in leading the professional response to the challenges now facing general practice. We have 5 vibrant LMCs and the CE is lay secretary to each of them. We have good relations and influence across two large ICBs and close working relationships with Provider colleagues in secondary care.

The Consortium Office is based in Preston and provides a wide range of services to GPs and practices.
