**Salary**: £24,000 - £26,000 p.a.
Full-time

Working for a leading manufacturing company supporting their main business accounting function. Part of a team of circa 8 accounting professionals.

Description:

- Process Sales invoices and credits, matchin to orders.
- Parts sales orders and invoicing as required
- Complete due diligence checks on new customers and liaise with sales team to make informed business decisions on their viability as potential customers.
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment
- Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve collection processes
- Prepare and present reports on credit and collection activities to management

Skills required:

- Proven experience as a Credit Controller and sale ledger, or similar role
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with financial services and credit analysis
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate creditworthiness
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using accounting software and data entry systems - ideally SAGE and SAP
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 12:30
Location: 100% office based - this is **not** a hybrid or remote role.
