Hseq Manager

HSE Recruitment are working with a manufacturing business in Ripely, Derbyshire who are looking for a **HSEQ Manager** to help further improve a site that is already doing some fantastic things, who can encourage them to be more proactive and help raise the bar. This is a great opportunity for an established HSE Manager or an experienced Advisorready to take a step up.
The business are a subsidiary of a larger organisation so there is the security of that parent company but they operate with the autonomy of an independent business. The site has around 120 staff operating 3 shifts across 5 days. They are a down to earth, closeknit site who work as part of a team.
The environmental side is pretty well established and the quality side is overseeing the department, providing quality alerts and dealing with customer complaints. Health and Safety is the focus. The culture is pretty good already, for example there has beena lot of investment in training in the last 6 months, the staff take a lot of ownership for safety, site walks and audits are happening, people are accountable, which is important. They have all three ISO accreditations, 9001, 14001 and 45001 and you willmaintain those. It’s about someone taking overall ownership, working with people on site to improve things, identify gaps and encourage everyone to be even more proactive.
We are looking for:

- Minimum NEBOSH Certificate, it would be beneficial to have a Diploma, but the client would be willing to invest in someone
- Experience within a similar manufacturing environment
- Stronger on H&S but with very good knowledge and experience managing ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and a good understanding of quality.
- Someone who is a team player, will work with people, engage and involve the site in decisions, be proactive and help improve the site and move it forward.

Salary on offer is £40-45,000 depending on experience.
