Centreless Grinder

We are an SME (Small Medium Enterprise) that are key suppliers to some truly global customers. A major new project within the business has seen the need for an experienced Grinder to join, to bring the required skills to the existing small, but dedicated team, and aid with project start up.

The role would be setting, operating, and training existing employees on a manual Cincinnati OM20 centreless grinder and would also include:

- Performing daily / weekly basic maintenance tasks.
- Problem solving your own and supporting other team members when issues arise on the Centreless grinder.
- Checking your own work and work of the team with use of Micrometres & other gauging.
- Advising on any improvements that are needed to the process.
- Experience of setting and operating a Centreless grinder is essential and a requirement for this role.
- Components are hardened pins that weigh between 1kg and 12kg.

This is a permanent day shift position.

Mid-morning break (paid)

Lunch break - 30 mins - unpaid

**Salary**: Dependant on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
