**Job title**:Maintenance Fitter

**Location**:Samlesbury

**Salary**: £40,003

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Complying with all applicable safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Planned preventative maintenance activities on plant equipment
- Fault diagnosis and repair of plant equipment
- Recording details of breakdowns and repairs where necessary to facilitate further analysis
- Carrying out planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair on the mechanical systems associated with any of the above
- Participating in reliability centred maintenance activities, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Mechanical Time served Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualifications and experience within Mechanical discipline
- Knowledge of fault finding of complex mechanical machinery including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience of the repair and maintenance of multi axis machine tools
- Knowledge and experience of fault finding on equipment with Computer Numeric Control/Programme Logic Control systems, Siemens PLC control
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics, hydraulic & pneumatic drawings
