We employ over 100 staff, operate over 25 vehicles, and deploy over 2500 skips and containers from our 30-acre purpose-built waste management, skip hire and recycling facility near Carlisle, in Cumbria.

Our aim is to fully close the circular journey of the waste produced, through our ability to manage the entire process - skip hire and business waste collection through to recycling and full material recovery.

**The Role**

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Fabricator and Welder to work within our existing fabrication team.

**Responsibilities and duties to include: -**
- Carrying out Skip repairs including steel fabrication and welding.
- Welding repairs to the fixed processing plant in the Waste Transfer Station.
- Welding repairs to Mobile Plant as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Experience of fabrication and welding is essential.
- Experience with welding equipment and methods of welding including Mig and MMA stick are essential.
- Good knowledge of health and safety requirements including complying with risk assessments, permit to works, LOLER, COSHH, is required.
- Experience of record keeping and working to schedules is also essential.

**The Package**

The role attracts an hourly rate of £14.75.

40 hours per week (flexible/part-time hours would be considered) plus overtime as required.

20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. An additional days holiday for every year of service up to 10 days.

Onsite parking & cycle to work scheme available

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £14.75 per hour
