The Assistant Learning and Access Officer is an entry level role, designed to provide experiences useful to developing a career with museum, gallery or heritage learning. The postholder will be part of the LMG Learning and Access Team, and will support with the inclusive development, delivery and evaluation of schools, family programmes and interpretation across the venues of LMG.

We appreciate that everyone has different life experiences, so will approach the role differently. We will design the role with you depending on what skills and experience you want to develop. This could include experiences of different museum and gallery settings, programmes and audience groups. Whilst in role, LMG will provide on-the-job training, access to formal and informal support and mentoring. The ‘home venue’ of the post is Leeds Discovery Centre. There is the possibility of work at other venues across Leeds Museums and Galleries to gain the maximum experience, alongside some home working.

**About the role**
