We are currently recruiting for **Supervisors on a full-time permanent basis **at our Centre of Excellence in Dungannon for our **Cut & Fold and Paint Departments.**
**Job Purpose**
To manage all aspects of the Manufacturing process within their area of responsibility; taking full accountability for ensuring that people, equipment, processes, materials, quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness requirements are met for designated components and products throughout the product life cycle.
This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to prioritising the team's success. Our Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that original goals are attained and that employees remain productive throughout their shift.
**Responsibilities**:
- Is fully accountable for ensuring that all safety compliance issues are met within their area of responsibility, to include but not limited to; Health and Safety, Risk Assessments, adherence to safe working practises, health and safety audits and compliance with Maximus Health and Safety and environmental policies.
- Ensures that products, services and spares are delivered to customers on time and in line with the operational plan by effectively planning, organising and delegating duties to direct reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Optimises the performance of manufacturing assets through appropriate means such as effective co-coordination of machine tool maintenance and asset care.
- Is accountable for the development and achievement of the budget through efficient monitoring, controlling and reporting against the plan; updates the performance matrix and ensures KPI’s are communicated to staff; keeps up to date with sales, volumes and costs.
- Maintains a balanced workforce at all times, plans the headcount, contributes to the recruitment process; manages the skills matrix and ensures that staff have the correct skills to perform their job role; ensures that all statutory compliance is adhered to e.g. certificates, licenses, equal opportunities policies; coaches and feeds back to the team to develop performance; actively identifies and supports superior performers; actively identifies under performers.
- Creates the environment for continuous improvement; Takes the initiative to improve operational and business processes by identifying and implementing improvement opportunities. Ensures that best practise is shared internally and across the business.
- Ensures harmonious relationships within the team and across departments. Leads performance by example. Leads the engagement activity. Lives the company values and achieves results through leading and managing the team.
**Salary**: £17.00-£20.00 per hour
