**Main Purpose**

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join a premier team of Human Resources Specialists at 100 FSS, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, United Kingdom.

You will advise officers and airmen on the full range of military personnel issues and programs, meet with military members of all rank to determine individual interests, qualifications, and personnel data. You will provide expert and detailed information regarding provisions of personnel programs such as assignments, promotions, separation, retirements, benefit programs, retention, bonus, classification, training and retraining, and personnel reliability program, personnel readiness and career progression.

The role involves compiling reports and updating, correcting and performing detailed audits of personnel records. Developing solutions to complex and difficult errors or system problems and assists less experienced military personnel assistants with issues they
haven't been able to solve. Accurately record, correct, and/or update information in unit, field, and records. You will prepare and maintain a wide variety of personnel records, aeronautical orders, and personnel action requests. Periodically review records
maintained by the Military Personnel office, analyzes trends, and prepare and process documentation for administration of quality control programs.

**Knowledge and Experience Required**:

- Applicants must demonstrate the following: _

1. Thorough knowledge of an extensive body of personnel rules, procedures, and operations to perform, with the guidance of a specialist, a wide variety of interrelated or nonstandard technical work assignments in the full range of personnel activities.

2. Knowledge of typical office software and equipment to support office operations and produce a variety of documents, reports, spreadsheets and presentations.

3. Ability to effectively explain/assist with a wide range of regulatory m1d programmatic procedures related to military personnel services.

4. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to provide a high standard of customer service to officers, airmen and eligible dependents.

5. Knowledge of MilPDS to input, store, retrieve data and perform quality review of data elements is desirable.

**Other Important Information**
- Hours of work: Start & end times may be modified due to mission needs and in accordance with organization’s flexible working policies.
- Will be required to handle and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with applicable US and UK laws, rules, and regulations.
- Must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
- May be assigned other duties that are appropriate to the grade and skill set of the employee.
- May be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft in the performance of official duties or attend necessary training. Position may be coded as mission essential.
- A 6-month probationary period will be required.
- Overtime may be required.
- May be required to travel overnight to US or other countries in the performance of official duties or attend necessary train.
