**About our service**:
Borehamwood is a partnership between One YMCA and Hertsmere Council/Hertfordshire County Council and falls within One YMCA's Stage 2 Intensive stage of our Dynamic Pathway to Independence. Shenwood Court is a 24-bed site, with 4 workers working to support those with complex needs and often long histories of homelessness.

**The role**:
You will be part of a team of three specialist workers delivering accommodation and support to Single Homeless Individuals and working with the Homelessness Prevention Pathway, in line with the organisation's overarching mission of ending homelessness and rough sleeping. You will support a caseload of residents and you will have an understanding of complex needs, childhood trauma and therapeutic approaches.

Residents will be supported to identify and focus on realistic and achievable short, medium and long-term goals.

You will work a varied shift pattern of early and late shifts across the week (over seven days), with occasional weekend work required as part of the role. You will also cover public holidays from time to time.
