We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Payroll and People Administrator to join a thriving People team who pride themselves in putting people first.

This role is integral to our team in being able to offer a first-class service to our business whilst delivering our key payroll objectives. You can expect exposure to all parts of the employee life-cycle including:

- Managing all employee compensation
- Driving data excellence by maintaining accurate reports
- Engaging with all levels of management and supporting different teams
- Supporting with People projects such as the launch of a new HR Information System

Some of your duties will cover:

- Ownership for all administration associated with payroll for the employee life-cycle
- Submit all relevant forms to HMRC on a monthly basis.
- Implementing new tax year changes, tax codes, band widths on the payroll system, in line with current legislation.
- Administer all employee benefits
- Managing the People systems

This is fantastic opportunity to make a real difference whilst developing your Payroll and HR skills and knowledge. You will join a friendly, experienced and fun team (well we think we are) based in Northampton and Norwich. We also support our 4 other offices at Cambridge, Leicester, Milton Keynes and Manchester. We like to get out and about to support our people in person and operate locate for your diary policy which offers great flexibility supporting work/life balance.

We are looking for you to have the following skills:

- Previous experience in a payroll position
- A people person that is approachable and works well as part of a team
- Have strong administration skills and real attention to detail
- Be results focused and driven to deliver great results
- Excellent communication skills and confident engaging with various levels of management
