**PDI Technician**

Stephen James BMW has a great opportunity for a PDI Vehicle Technician to join our workshop prep team. As an approved BMW Dealer, you will work on the full range of BMW & MINI vehicles, develop your skills using the latest service technology and receive bespoketraining at the BMW UK Training Academy.

**Your role**

As the PDI Vehicle Technician you will be responsible for carrying out the final installations and checks before handing over vehicles to our customers. Your work will be of the highest standard and workmanship, using the equipment provided. You will customiseeach vehicle to make the customer feel special and valued.

**The main duties of the role include**:

- Carry out vehicle inspections on all new and used vehicles
- Vehicle maintenance repairs, such as breaks pads, servicing, programming, and fitting of accessories as well as any other necessary minor work
- Reporting any vehicle defects
- Road test vehicles where appropriate
- To thoroughly document all work performed on each vehicle ensuring all paperwork is completed and submitted promptly

**Your profile**:

- IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance qualification or equivalent with Hybrid level 3 qualification
- Proven experience working at a main dealer manufacturer or national or independent service/repair retailers (preferable with BMW or MINI expertise) with experience working on electric vehicles
- Valid, and clean manual UK Driving Licence and must be eligible to work in the UK

**Salary and Hours**

***Basic salary £26,000 with an OTE of £30,000 per annum

Working hours, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, and occasional Saturdays, 8am to 2pm (as required by business needs to be paid as overtime).
