We're currently looking for an experienced General Foreman to work with our trusted partner on Pond 2 Hathersham in Horley, Surrey. You will be working on the removal of silt from a balancing pond along with some minor fencing and mechanical works on the inlet and outlet valves, on a 5-6 week contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit out company. They deliver vital projects across a range of sectors including health, education, highways, justice, defence, aviation, water and environment. With over 130 years of experience in the construction and engineering sector, they are a trusted partner of central and local government and are used to working closely with their customers and supply chain to achieve outstanding results.**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with day-to-day activities on site.
- Silt removal from balancing pond.
- Fencing.
- Mechanical works on the inlet and outlet valves.
- Liaise with client supervisors with a high level of professionalism.
- Monitoring of implementation of procedures on site.
- Manage subcontractor operations and coordination including meetings.
- Scheduling, monitoring progress and quality control.
- Proactive approach to the environment, client relationships & customer care of all the stakeholders involved in a project.
- Methodology selection and preparation of Method Statements, Risk and COSHH Assessments, permits to work.
- Ensure the project is delivered safely on time, within budget, and snag free.

**Requirements**:

- Must have civils / highways experience e.g. earthworks, drainage etc.
- CSCS black / white / gold card
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- First Aid Course
- Relevant degree or HND / HNC qualification
- Knowledge of CDM regulations & building regulations
- Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
- Full clean driving license
