English Teacher

An oversubscribed school in Gosport are looking to recruit a suitably qualified teacher of English to join their Faculty of 4 and support the delivery of Key Stage 3, 4 and A Level English from January 2023. The position would be to cover maternity leaveon a 0.6 timetable. The specific days are currently flexible. Academic standards are very high at the school and are duly recognised as such by OfSTED, DfE and the media, but excellence permeates all other areas of school life.

**To be considered you must meet the following criteria**:

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status
- The ability to motivate pupils to achieve excellent examination results
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Excellent organisational and ICT skills
- The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
- You can provide 2 teaching references within the last 2 years
- You hold the right to work in the UK
- You have a DBS or are willing to complete one
- You have passion for Education
- You have a provable track record of teaching English to A level
- An innovator with drive and determination

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
