**Working Hours**: 37.5 hrs per week (8:00am - 16:00pm with 30-minute lunch break)

**Hybrid Working**: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in the office / Thursday and Friday at home

**Salary**: £26,000 per annum

**Purpose of the role**:
The role of the Accounts Receivable Assistant is to support the Finance Manager in all aspects of the sales ledger. Generating sales invoices for the Local Authorities and ARC activities across the two legal entities. The role will also involve Credit Control and Debtor Reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Raising invoices in both Sage 50 and Sage 200 to Local Authorities for fee income.
- Raising invoices to people we support for activities attended at the Activity Resource Centre.
- Credit Control of ARC Activities and Local Authority monies owed.
- Assisting with month end activities.
- Assisting with collation of documentation for the financial audit.
- Investigating and responding to staff queries.
- Undertaking financial administration.

**Key skills**:

- Self-motivation, determination and confidence in your abilities
- Experience of working in a finance function, having had some involvement in the areas outlined above.
- Enthusiastic and adaptable working style, keen to identify opportunities for improvements and personal growth
- Excellent Excel and IT skills, experience of Sage 200 and/or Sage 50 desirable but not essential
