Design Coordinator Trainee

**Urban Myth** has an exciting opportunity for two **Design Coordinator Trainees**to start their career in kitchen designing, at our office in **Chingford**. You will be working on a **full time, permanent** basis, and in return you will receive a **competitive salary from £19,000 per annum**, depending on your level of experience and skills, plus excellent company benefits.

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday, with a lunchbreak.

**The Design Coordinator Trainee role**:
The Trainee roles will learn how to use our design software and assist with designing and quoting for our Contract clients, whilst also providing excellent customer service in order to maintain our professional reputation.

**Your responsibilities as our Design Coordinator Trainee will include**:

- Learning and utilising the specialist design packages (‘Planit’ / ’2020’)
- The interpretation of technical/architectural drawings
- Doing preliminary design work
- Working from architectural plans
- Ordering and preparing quotations
- Other administrative related tasks associated with contracts sales and after care

This is not an exhausted list - as a small business, all our colleagues need to strive on being flexible in order to respond to additional tasks as and when required.

**Experience and personal qualities we are looking for in our Design Coordinator Trainee**:
We are looking for two people who are interested in starting their careers in the design and the manufacturing of kitchens; they need to be IT literate, and will be able to pick up new software packages quickly; they are eager and willing to add to theirknowledgebase and skill set; they have attention to detail; they are able to organise and work to deadlines, be a team player and also have strong honest and professional work ethics.
