**Senior Category Manager - Strategic Sourcing Corrugated**

TMS Global are a wholly owned subsidiary of DS Smith PLC, a FTSE100 listed multi-national packaging and display manufacturing business. TMS Global specialise in the outsourcing of retail display, print and packaging and are active in 97 markets globally.

**About the role**

As the Senior Category Manager, you will be primarily responsible for defining the sourcing strategies for the relevant packaging categories across the geographical regions which are relevant to the client's sourcing requirements, and you will also manage the key supplier relationships to support the delivery of commercial value through the local client facing teams. You will collaborate with Strategics Project Manager's, Key account Manager's and category support functions to identify and implement opportunities within the supply base to improve cost position and/or improve performance to meet and exceed KPI's and contractual requirements.

Based in the central Strategic Sourcing team, you will define, oversee, and support all sourcing requirements for the relevant category, either directly or through the Category Managers, Strategic Project Managers, Key Account Manager's, and Procurement/Sourcing associates based in our Shared Service Centre (SSC) India.

**About you**

This role would be a great fit for you if you have experience as a sourcing professional from a packaging or packaging manufacturing background with knowledge within the printing industry.

**Skills and attributes for success**
- Packaging or Packaging Manufacturing background
- Fluent English, written and spoken and any additional languages local to this region.
- Supply Chain or procurement background
- Previous experience in a regional or multi-country role
- Experience of defining and delivering sourcing strategies.
