**Business Development & Marketing Executive**

Carter Murray have exclusively partnered with an industry leading law firm who are seeking an experienced Business Development & Marketing Executive with knowledge of commercial real estate and experience taking responsibility for driving action, developing and implementing marketing strategies to join the business at a critical stage in their growth plans in the UK.

**Role Overview**

You will report to the Commercial Real Estate BD & Marketing Manager and will be mentored by them but at the same time have a high level of autonomy in the role. You will be responsible for assisting on all day to day aspects of the marketing strategies within the thriving company in the heart of Mayfair.

**Key Responsibilities**

Sector strategies
- You will review and update the sector plans as required. Complete/devise any new plans as needed.
- You will be responsible for driving actions and delivery.

Marketing campaigns
- You will develop and execute cross-channel marketing campaigns on topics aligned to the sector groups, with support of the BDM, the digital team and freelance graphic designers.
- Bring creativity and new ideas on formats and delivery is encouraged.

Communications
- As appropriate work with the firm’s PR agency on communications strategy for campaign, team and deal promotion.
- You will manage internal comms around new BD initiatives and communicate the work of the CRE team.
- Manage client communications as part of the job holders’ sector group and campaign work.

Business development
- Work with selected partners (split with the BD & Marketing Manager) to develop individual sales pipelines of key clients, targets and referral contacts.

Pitching/new business
- From time to time, you will support and manage major client pitches; research, collating information and proofing.
- As and when required, help partners prepare for pitches, BD meetings and other presentations by facilitating rehearsals and providing constructive feedback.

**Desired skills/experiences**
- Confident communicator.
- Organised with ability to prioritise workload.
- Motivated and pro-active with a ‘can-do’ solutions-based approach.
- Can adhere to tight and demanding deadlines.
- Proficient in use of MS Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- A minimum of four years’ experience of business development and marketing within a professional services firm (ideally a law firm) and with proven experience within a real estate environment.
- Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills with ability to liaise effectively with internal clients and colleagues and external suppliers and consultants.
- Excellent organisational, delegation and prioritisation skills with ability to manage time efficiently.
- Good attention to detail. Accurate and thorough**.**
