Job Title: Special Needs English Teacher

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement individualised education plans for students with special educational needs to support their learning and development in English.
- Design and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that accommodate the diverse learning styles and needs of students with special educational needs.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn.
- Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback and assessments, and adjust instruction as necessary to ensure that students are meeting their learning goals.
- Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide a cohesive and integrated learning experience for students with special educational needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and to discuss strategies for supporting their learning at home.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
- Teaching certification in Special Education and/or English.
- Experience working with students who have special educational needs.
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction and teaching strategies to support diverse learners.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
