Join Southampton Cargo Handling, the leading provider of stevedoring services in the UK with over three decades of industry experience. Our comprehensive range of port services, including rope handling, cargo loading/discharging and terminal management, has been pivotal in supporting the port and logistics sectors.

**Working Hours**:Fully Flexible, 40 hours per week **Salary: £31,200 per annum**

**Summary of Job**:
As a Fully Flexible Leading Hand, you'll play a key role in supporting Operations Managers and Team Managers across various aspects of SCH operations. This includes Ro-Ro, Vehicle Compounds, Cruise Parking, Cruise Operations, and Central Receiving.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Assist in supervising and managing operations within your skill set across designated areas.
- Uphold high service standards for all customers and clients.
- Collaborate with other Leading Hands across operational areas on a rotational basis.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skillsets for all operations.
- Undertake tasks such as car driving, baggage/stores handling, cargo lashing, basic forklift operation, and cargo documentation checks.
- Act as a deputy for the Team Manager when necessary.
- Meet customer expectations consistently during operations.

**Essential Requirements**:

- A Full UK Drivers Licence.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional demeanour
- Good level of physical fitness
- Be able to work to a Fully Flexible Contract, which may include occasional late nights and weekends
