**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic **Sous Chef** to join a fantastic team at one of Devon’s finest luxury Hotels with a 3 AA Rosette restaurant. This **Sous Chef** role is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for great food and a desire to create exemplary dishes in this luxury restaurant. The **Sous Chef** is responsible for aiding the Head Chef, and able to deputise for the Head Chef, in their absence.

**Duties**:

- Consistently prepare and cook food to relevant standards and dish specifications
- Work with the restaurant team to understand customer expectations
- Be a team player at all times and work flexibly to ensure a smooth guest focused operation is maintained
- Help the Head Chef work within set budgets while maintaining service standards

**Skills Experience and Qualifications**:

- Have a passion for delivering an exceptionally high standard of food
- Can do attitude and a willingness to learn is paramount
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar fine dining environment
- Have a passion for delivering an exceptionally high standard of food
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of people
- Professional cookery qualification
