Remuneration: £30,000 - £40,000

The role of the Senior Design Engineer - Heat Pumps will involve:

- Senior Design Engineer position dealing with the development of a high quality manufactured range of ground source heat pumps
- Responsible for the quality of digital models and drawings
- Carry out and supervise mechanical based analysis, development and design of products and equipment
- Understand and improve our clients current product range designs
- Produce and check CAD drawings, documentation and technical reports
- Leading and managing various design projects, acting as a line manager for 4 designers
- Ensuring smooth transition from design stage through to manufacture
- Ensure all works are completed to H&S regulations and to the highest standard

The ideal applicant will be a Senior Design Engineer - Heat Pumps with:

- Must have 5 years’ Design Engineer experience within the manufacturing market sector
- Experience working with ground source heat pumps extremely beneficial however training will be provided
- Would consider engineer backgrounds such as electronics, software or mechanics
- Ideally will be experienced in metal work design for a large volume manufacturer
- Excellent ability and desire to grasp new concepts and ideas
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Solidworks
- Ideally will have people management skills
- Confident in checking technical drawings and writing technical reports
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels
