**As a CNC Machinist, you must be able to**:

- Read and understand technical and engineering drawings
- Read, understand, and write CNC programs using mainly FANUC controls
- Use and read a range of different measuring equipment
- A good knowledge of working with exotic materials

**As a Centreless Grinder, you must be able to**:

- To read blueprints and job order for product specifications, such as dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be ground.
- Starts machine and observe operation safely keeping guards in place.
- Verify dimensions of ground workpiece for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as micrometres, callipers, and preset gauges.
- Change worn grinding wheels, maintaining health and safety protocol.

**Would be advantageous to have**:

- Generate programs offline using One CNC systems or CADCAM
- Previous experience working on Citizen Sliding heads and Nakamura machines

The starting salary is negotiable on the individuals experience within this line of work.

Salary based on a 39-hour week, working Monday to Thursday.

Your hours of work will be 07:30 AM to 17.45PM (Monday to Thursday) with 30 minutes lunch.

Holidays are 20 days plus bank holidays

**Salary**: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
