Membership Assistant, Animal based membership body, Central London, permanent role, to £25,500

The main duties of the Membership Assistant role are:

- Help people to join and members to renew or update their details
- Help members use the website to access benefits and online journals
- Promote membership at events
- Undertake calls to members to assist in the renewal process and update payments received in CRM
- Be responsible for returned mail and contacting members to obtain new address information
- Add and update member details in CRM
- Assist with the checking of mailing lists
- Assist with data protection activities to ensure compliance with current data protection regulations incGDPR
- Provide full administration support to the Membership Operations Manager
- Other duties as required by the Membership Operations Manager or Head of Membership

Skills and experience
- Experience of customer service essential
- Experience of membership desired but not essential
- Empathic telephone manner
- Excellent IT skills and CRM experience
- Familiarity with MS Dynamics and Dot Digital desired but not essential
- Aptitude for accurate data entry
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage own workload
- Attention to detail
- Strong people skills
