**Experienced Male support Health Care Workers needed urgently in the Leicester are immediate start Dementia experience needed**

We have recently been awarded 2 long terms contracts in the Leicester area to support 2 males with Dementia.

You will be working in very specialised teams on some long term Dementia experience needed on contracts contracts on a 2:1 basis the shifts patterns are as follows

**Mon 7am to 9pm**

**Tue 7am to 9pm**

**Wed 7am to 9pm**

**Saturday 7am to 9pm**

**Saturday Night 9pm to 7am**

**Sunday 7am to 9pm**

**Sunday 9pm to 7am**

We are therefore looking for 2 males who are experienced support workers or Health Care Assistants who have had exposure to working with people who have dementia. We are looking for a team of 3 to 4 experienced support workers on our projects to cover various services we support.

As an experienced support worker you must be understanding be positive and happy able to reassure people you support who may become anxious encourage them to be independent and praise them or reward when they do good. and be able to have a constant routine with them and most of all Patience

We offer specialist mandatory training and specialist training from the N H S which is job specific and will further enhance your career with Tailormade Healthcare.

As part of your ongoing induction we would require to do a few shadow shifts which will be paid.

The work is ongoing and continuous so rest assured there are plenty of hours if you can commit.

The hours we are looking from 3 hrs to 11 hours a day plus nights.

We do need to take work references DBS and any training certificates. You must be able to work and live in the UK.

The experience you have obtained must have been evidenced 2 years consistently unfortunately due to the existing support our client have recommended male staff as they would have to give personal care to our client’s and it’s a recommendation from the family.

The family are Asian so if you have cultural experience Islam preferred but this is not essential as we are an equal opportunities employer it just makes your job easier if u understood the specific culture.

It would be ideal if you live in the Leicester area.

We do pay up to £15.00 per hour on emergency shifts

However the vacancies range per hour from minimum £10.75 upwards

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in care, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare procedures.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client’s locations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow care plans accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
