Position: Bus Mechanic

Hours: Full time/Part time

Location: Belfast

We are currently looking for a Bus Mechanic to join our team to work with mainly Volvo and Mercedes vehicles.

**Key responsibilities - Bus Mechanic**
- Plan and implement a program of scheduled preventative maintenance for any busses they are responsible for.
- Performing mechanical repairs on buses
- Making emergency service calls for stranded buses
- Performing complete safety inspections on busses, as required
- General servicing
- MOT preparation Diagnostics

**Skills and relevant work experience**
- Physical fitness and stamina, as bus mechanics will need to stand up for long periods, lift heavy materials and potentially work in small and cramped spaces
- Organizational skills, as they will need to manage the schedule of when each bus is to undergo maintenance
- Time management skills, as bus mechanics will need to ensure that repairs are completed before the deadline.
- Critical thinking skills, as master mechanics, must be able to accurately evaluate vehicle damage and determine necessary repair strategies

**Experience**:

- Mechanic: 2 years time served (preferred)

**Licence/Certification**:

- Driving Licence (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £600.00-£800.00 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
