**Job Title: Trainee Accountant AAT**

**Hours 40 hours per week**

**Shift Monday - Friday 08.30 - 17.00**

**Job Purpose**

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the global Lactalis Group. Your duties will include:

- Reconciling a bank statement with the cash book.
- Preparing and posting journals.
- Preparing and recording depreciation calculations.
- Preparing and recording period end adjustments (accruals and prepayments).
- Using techniques required for dealing with costs.
- Attributing costs according to organisational requirements.
- Investigating deviations from budgets.
- Preparing balance sheets reconciliation.

**Skills we need**

You will have achieved or be working towards AAT level 3 Diploma in Accounting and be experienced in an accounting role and familiar with finance regulations. You’ll have good maths skills with the ability to spot numerical errors. Excellent knowledge of MS excel and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
