Job Introduction
Our Contracting North business unit is going from strength to strength with recent successes in the Northwest and Yorkshire regions on the council’s highways frameworks and Term Maintenance contracts. As a result of growing demand, we’re looking for a Project Planner to manage current highways and civils projects.

Main Responsibilities
As the project planner you will provide construction planning and programming knowledge at contract stage by developing an accurate assessment of sequence, methodology and time, using either Primavera P6 and or Microsoft Planner software, depending on the Clients requirements. You will produce, manage, and update the construction programme and its communication to internal and external customers and major stakeholders.

You’ll also:

- Hold a high level of experience in highway construction and maintenance
- Have suitable construction qualification and training course attendance
- Have appropriate ONC/HNC/HND qualification in Construction / Civil Engineering
- SMSTS / IOSH (Safety Related Qualification)
- Full clean driving licence and the willingness to travel to multiple company sites
