**Deceuninck are a Window Systems Company based in Calne, Wiltshire; where we extrude and laminate 6-meter lengths of uPVC profiles for windows and doorframes.**

We are looking to hire additional Operators in our Lamination Production Team based in Calne, Wiltshire. The purpose of this role is to operate the lamination lines safely and efficiently, feeding and packing profiles to fulfill demand at the highest quality standards.

In addition to our standard new starter induction with Health & Safety and HR, you will receive a department induction, full introduction and training on your tasks and responsibilities.

**Key duties include**:
Laminate 6-meter lengths uPVC profiles to fulfil demand, adhering to relevant standards and procedures
- Feed profiles into the lamination lines and ensure that full primer coverage is gained, monitoring lengths visually with a UV lamp.
- Identify any faults that may be present with the profile, segregate accordingly and report immediately.
- Control Scrap level to approved minimum, following correct procedures and informing relevant personnel of any issues.
- Pack laminated profiles into a stillage to fulfil demand at highest quality standards following correct procedures.
- Proactively seek to develop within the team, learning new skills and gain responsibility.
- Reliable and responsible, with a positive attitude, a real team player who’s supportive of others.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with good level of English both written and verbal.
- Keen to develop their skills and knowledge to progress to higher operator levels.
- Naturally manually dexterous, demonstrated through work experience, hobbies and interests.
- Excellent attention to detail, working to a consistent high standard of work.

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- Up to £500 joining bonus & £500 referral bonus (T&Cs apply)
- Competitive hourly pay:
£10.75 (basic hourly rate) + £1.29 (day shift allowance) = £12.04

**Working Hours**:
42 hours per week, operating a 3 on 3 off rotating shift pattern of 12 hour shifts. The standard working hours are 06:00 - 18:00 (Days). Although the hours may vary during initial training.

Overtime is sometimes required to cover holidays or meet deadlines.

Please note due to the process of lamination, the department has a minimum temperature of 21 degrees and therefore is always a warm environment to work in.
