Description

Working as a key member of the PPG Refinish UK & Ireland Marketing Team, this apprenticeship is an incredible opportunity for enthusiastic people looking to enter the world of a global corporation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Communications Manager with planning and executing communications initiatives (including PR, advertising, media, collateral development) aimed at the refinish target market to support segment goals and growth targets.
- Work closely with the Refinish UK & Ireland Sales organisation and EMEA teams to develop communication initiatives that support growth goals and deepen engagement with the given target markets.
- Support the marketing team in impactful communication campaigns for digital innovations, sustainability initiatives and new product launches.
- Grow social media audience by creating compelling campaigns that support PPG's mission plan and develops PPG's presence in the market.
- Support the Marketing team with hospitality and events by coordinating customer communications and assisting with planning.
- Work with external marketing agencies to create brand compliant literature and digital assets.
- Support Communications Manager and Market Director with internal communication development and maintenance.
- Maintain merchandise and marketing collateral levels with external agencies.
- Support Communications Manager with customer testimonial creation, involving creative writing to engage the reader and market.

Entry requirements
- Grade C/Level 4 in GCSE English and Maths to be eligible for apprenticeship.
- A digital whiz-kid with a hunger to learn the intricacies of digital marketing.
- A social media guru with a knack for spotting trends and engaging audiences.
- A wordsmith with the ability to craft clear, concise and compelling content.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- A detail-oriented individual with a passion for creating high-quality work.
