**The Role**

Pinnacle Group are looking for a Working Supervisor to carry out work with our various clients to oversee the day to day running of housing developments and that work is carried out to the specification of the contract. This is inclusive of the day to day management of staff and resources in providing a first class GM service.

**Duties/Key Responsibilities**
- To monitor the performance of the service, ensuring that standards are met and exceeded
- To ensure that the team follow agreed schedules of work
- To keep accurate records of work performed by the team
- To motivate and manage staff effectively, offering guidance where necessary
- To train staff in grounds maintenance techniques
- To report any performance issues to the Performance Manager
- To proactively seek and nurture talent within your team together with your line manager
- To be an effective communication channel between your team and other working disciplines.
- To escalate and manage underperformance in a timely and consistent manner in accordance to company capability procedure
- To ensure Health & Safety standards are met and monitored
- To assist with the roll out of company initiatives such as Job Watch, Auto Focus
- To monitor progress and quality of the team’s outputs ensuring:

- Service levels are implemented and monitored
- Proactive auditing and supervision
- Action on all hotspot areas and senior management/client audits
- Effective workforce planning and shift cover, back filling where necessary

**Skills Required**:

- Experience delivering a grounds maintenance service in a commercial environment
- Excellent customer liaison skills together with a commitment to customer service
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures with the obligation to adhere to safe working practices and ensure due consideration is given to the safety of the residents and the public
- Experience of gardening services and of using gardening equipment
- Commitment to Customer Service with good communication skills.
- Experience of supervising a workforce
- Full Driving Licence
- Resilience under pressure and to work to laid down schedules / tight schedules.
- Ability for note /record keeping of works performed.
