We are looking for a suitably experienced and enthusiastic Press Setter to work out of our facility in Alfreton. The plan is to develop this individual to eventually run the Presswork Production Department, so progression is there if you want it.

**The Role**

Working the day shift (with an early finish on Fridays) you’ll be responsible for setting a range of power, hydraulic, and a manual presses.

This is NOT heavy tooling work, and the environment is clean, quiet, and not frantic.

Typically, this is short run work, so the ability to organise the necessary resources and timings is all part of the role.

**The Person**

You will have experience of press setting and tooling, but there are a few other things that would be nice to see:

- Solid experience of working within a manufacturing setting
- Experience of organising tooling and arranging for any maintenance needs to be covered.
- An ability to work within a diverse team and be able to communicate technical information either face to face or by the written word.
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and develop.

- A good hourly rate (£12.50 - £14.80) based on your established experience.
