**Warehouse Production Support Coordinator**

**General Role**

To control the storage and movement of packaging, raw materials, work in progress and finished goods. Ensuring goods reach the intended recipients (customers or manufacturing) in good order and on time in a cost-effective manner. The role will follow the procedures laid out by the company, ensuring they are applied in a way that benefits local site performance in the areas of quality, cost and delivery. The role requires expedition of delivery and despatch to required dates and costs in line with business objectives. Assist in other activities as required on an adhoc basis to support business needs.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Efficient storage, transportation and distribution of all retail and professional customer products
- Ensure components are ready for shop floor, in line with production plan, w/orders and KanBan systems in place
- The stores facility operates in an efficient manner, minimising stock errors and losses
- To ensure the appropriate documentation is generated and stored in accordance with company systems
- Support and actively take part in stock take as required
- Carry out monthly cycle counts and location accuracy checks in line with stock check procedure
- Ensure that all raw materials and components are received into the warehouse, are in good condition, to the correct quantity and palletised/wrapped/packaged/ to the required specification. Any issues found with incoming materials needs to be reported to the quality department or warehouse manager
- Goods stored needs to be correctly identified, stored in the correct location and protected from damage/deterioration
- Finished products are stored in a safe and suitable condition, dispatched in a timely and cost-effective manner to the customer
- Ensure the warehouse function operates using the most efficient systems and processes which minimise the stock holding and has a high level of H&S standards
- Ensure the requirements of ISO9001/2015 are always maintained
- Use the company Material Resource Planning system (AX) to carry out stock control activities, return and issuing of materials and other general inquiries
- Return completed works order to stores
- Any other duties as required by the Production/Operations Manager

**Role Requirements**
- Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software
- Have previously used systems (AX, SAP etc.)
- A formal warehouse or supply chain qualification
- Good communication skills
- Understanding/experience of continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Ability to work under pressure
- Warehouse/supply chain/logistics experience in a lean working environment
- Experience in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement techniques (5s, Kaizen etc.)
- Experience working in a logistics/warehouse/supply chain in the FMCG sector

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.25 per hour
