**Who Does This Role Report Into? Head of Finance Operations**

**Role Summary / Purpose and Scope**
You will be a key Business Partner to Finance Operations with a primary focus on Debt Recovery, with a remit to review and facilitate improvements to the whole end-to-end process - most likely using the framework adopted in the recent Finance Paper (please refer to Section 3 in the Quarterly Finance Update - link

**Skills, Knowledge and Values**:

- Knowledge of finance and accounting principles/rules/regulations (UKGAAP, IAS, IFS & IFRS)
- Excellent Financial Accounting knowledge
- Finance System (eg SUN, NAV, SAP, ORACLE, SAGE)
- Strong excel
- Communication - to different groups and level
- Process and time management
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to interrogate data (ask the right questions)
- Debt Recovery (details in Role Profile)
- Support the HoFO fully in general business partner activity
- Identify and support on end-to-end Finance Processes improvement around Invoice Raising, Settlement and Reporting
- Document processes and activities fully

**Experience and Salary**:

- Financial Accounts (P&L, Cash, Balance Sheet)
- Business Partnering

- Exception reporting

Qualifications:

- A level or equivalent in Mathematics
- Degree in a numerate (or comparable) discipline
- (requiring maths, logic, finance, analysis)
- Qualified or Part Qualified/Studying a Professional Finance Qualification (eg CIMA or ACCA)

**Salary Range (Based on Experience)**

**£45,000 to £55,000 **per annum, depending on experience.
