**Deputy Retail Supervisor**

- Location: Texaco Fuel Station - Muff, Co.Donegal_

FULL TIME

Paid weekly - 4 week rota

11.80 Euro per hour / £10.53

We offer the Ultimate ice Cream & Coffee experience in the North and Texaco Muff has operated successfully for over 20 years on its current site for its current owners

**The Opportunity**

Nibbelicious is a Full Time Deputy Retail Supervisor to join the Team at Nibbelicious Ice Cream Parlour Muff Co Donegal at Texaco Fuel Station

**SUPERVISORS SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**

**GOAL FOCUSED To deputise**
- To ensure the opening and closing of the store in line with industry practice
- Be responsible for cash / credit card / sales reconciliation for daily sales / weekly sales and lodgements and operation of Stationmaster, Thesaurus / Bright Pay wages systems, electronic bank transfares and Brightsafe systems
- To assist in the recruitment, training and development of high quality personnel for the ice cream and forecourt areas
- Maintain training records and ensure refresher training is provided to personnel in the area as appropriate
- Rostering and general management of personnel to ensure adequate cover within budgetary provisions
- Ensure retail team is motivated
- Ensure retail team comply with requirements of the area in terms of all legal requirements etc.
- Retail supervisors will be required to be able to clean ice cream, coffee machines etc training will be provided

**QUALITY FOCUS**
- Ensure effective & compliant HACCP control systems are in place
- Ensure area operates within relevant legislation in terms of HACCP
- Ensure you are up to date on all aspects HACCP and food hygiene requirements and communicate same to store management and personnel
- Ensure food safety policy is updated and complied with appropriately
- Ensure employees comply with good food hygiene practices
- Ensure regular cleaning of all food prep areas and equipment
- Ensure relevant protective clothing is provided and worn
- Ensure critical control points are identified and monitored
- Ensure systems in place for temperature checking and food hygiene
- Ensure corrective action put in place for critical control points
- Ensure the appropriate waste management records are maintained

**EFFECTIVE STOCK CONTROL**
- Ensure effective stock control systems are in place ensuring stock is rotated accordingly and out of date stock is discarded appropriately
- Ensure wastage in the food area are maintained at a minimum level through effect management of the stock
- Ensure effective food management and waste systems are implemented, managed and updated appropriately
- Identify areas of stock leakage and ensure effective systems are in place to minimise stock loss (e.g. through wastage, damages)
- Use Stationmaster fuel management system to ensure necessary fuel levels are maintained by ordering fuel as accessed

**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

To undertake other additional duties as may be assigned by the store manager or company directors

**CONTROLS**
- Ensure overheads are controlled and minimised where appropriate and implementing budgets as directed
- Ensure margins are maintained appropriately and profitability of the area is maximised
- Meet targets as agreed including the achievement of the required profit margin for the area

**Qualifications / Experience**
- Bubbly personality
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- 5 GCSE or more or qualification by experience
- Good communications skills both orally and written.
- Cash handling and operating back office retail systems (including excel and word) experience preferable
- Experience working with the public in the leisure or retail industry
- Experience with catering environment preferable
- Experience as Team Leader or Retail Supervisor or similar role in Retail Catering or Leisure
