East Integrated Health Community are looking for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to deliver and expand our Community Coronary Artery Disease Team’s imaging and clinical examination needs. We will support you through further education to completecardiovascular clinical history and examination and interpretation with protected teaching time. You will work closely with the North Wales teams to build on these skills and develop as an independent practitioner. This is an exciting role for someone who wants to develop and enjoys innovation.

To accept direct patient referrals from General Practitioners to undertake one stop diagnostic clinics, providing independent ultrasound scanning and clinical examinations on patients with suspected Cardiac disease. Providing a diagnosis to the patient (Communicating on the day, highly sensitive and complex information to patients and relatives including the diagnosis of a life limiting disease or a hereditary disease), and to issue a diagnostic report to the General Practitioner on the findings on which future treatment and management plan is based.

Directly discharging patients back to the General Practitioner for whom a diagnosis of heart failure or other pathology has been excluded by the post holder; avoiding unnecessary referral to secondary care

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
