**Job Purpose**

Working within a busy Payroll & People team; to support the Payroll & Admin function at the Northern Region Distribution Centre; including administration support for the NRDC People function. Utilising Time & Attendance and Payroll systems to process data for the monthly payroll; providing general administration support for the site and administration support to the People department.

**Payroll**
Administration of holidays
Administration of weekly transport rota - processing changes where applicable
Administration of sick/absence

**General Administration**
Raising PO’s for eStore & Core & record on expenditure tracker; liaise with Suppliers accordingly
Processing of “bottom-line” invoicing/checks, validation & invoice tracking
Monthly printouts for Holiday log
Administration of 1st day absence
Processing of breakdown sheets
Processing of Goods Received
Processing of Scrap Metal
Manual Cheque requests
Monthly Banking
Post (incoming/outgoing)
Administration of Petty Cash
Issuing of safety workwear to employees
Raise weekly PO for agency labour (agency payroll)
Ad hoc requests

**People Administration**
Administration of the NRDC discussion Log
Processing of Return to work forms
Updating the Absence tracker
General People letters (welfare/absence meetings)
Administration of EDGE
Filing
General People Team Support ad hoc - including note taking in formal meetings
Generating and distributing site communications, notices and memo’s

**Health & Safety**

H&S should be at the top of everyone’s agenda. Your duties as an employee are to:

**Person Specification**
Essential
Experience working as a data processor within a fast-paced blue-collar environment with a strong employee relations focus
Experience working with Time & Attendance systems and Payroll systems
Ability to build effective interpersonal relationships
Excellent administration skills; working methodically, with an eye for accuracy
Experience with Purchase Ordering & Invoicing
Ability to demonstrate good initiative; a Self-motivator with experience and confidence to ‘own’ the role

Desirable
Experience of working within a distribution environment
HR administration experience
Oracle payroll system experience
Astrow Time & Attendance system experience
