We're looking for a Senior Software Tester to join our small, agile test team. In this role, you'll be working collaboratively across the wider team to understand the scope of change, the associated risks and how this impacts test coverage. You'll be responsible for translating business rules and operations into test cases.
You'll actively seek out new ways to do things and constantly be looking to improve the ways we work. Your own learning will be a key motivator for you in this role, you'll be able to shape this role based on your own knowledge, experience and tenacity. You'll have a passion for exploring new technologies and in this role we're relying on you to see how these can be used to create value in the test space.
**A bit about you**
Your friends would probably describe you as 'the curious one'. You'll be the person always trying to find the answer to complex problems and brain teasers. You'll be happiest when tinkering with new technologies and finding betters ways to deliver phenomenal code. You'll be someone who challenges the status quo and who loves to improve the ways in which you and the team work.
We've always placed more importance on culture contribution above technical ability, but in this role we'd really like you to have/be able to:

- extensive test analysis, preparation and execution experience, preferably within a financial services environment
- demonstrate good communications and reporting skills
- knowledge in design, execution and maintenance of test cases
- knowledge of exploratory methods
- support the evaluation of testing progress and achievement of Exit Criteria
- provide testing status reports and MI to internal and external stakeholders
- independently work in a project and create Test Plans and act as a test lead at times.
- Role is 50% Automation 50% manual.
- Automation Skills required, as below
- Java and Javascript Automation
- Selenium and Cypress
- Cucumber (BDD)
- Jenkins/Continuous integration
- Source control (Git)
- UI and API Testing
