**Purpose**

Initially as a data management and improvement position, this role will require lots of team interaction and conversations to establish the correct routes and actions to be taken to correct and update data records for customers and prospects to improve sales and marketing enablement. So great interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills are a must.

Once bedded in, the role will quickly transition into a wider Sales & Marketing support function using the systems available to help process, identify and direct leads and opportunities and support wider initiatives.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Liaising with marketing, IT, Operations, Accounts, Purchasing and Sales teams to cleanse, validate, update and improve data accuracy.
- Understand what data is required to enable the various departments to function effectively and cohesively and ensuring it is captured in the relevant systems
- You will need to ensure the correct operational data is identified captured, validated and assured in the appropriate systems such as; company names, customer codes, industry, core company info etc
- Manipulate and cleanse data from a variety of sources into a standard format, which may require capturing missing data and identifying / correcting data errors.
- Translate those updates across systems and or instruct other team members what to action in their owned systems
- Communicate with team members regarding data errors and advice on best practice.
- Adherence to data processing, handling and GDPR regulations
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing leads to identify opportunities for sales based on agreed criteria, target customers and data rich insights to improve Account Based Marketing and provide sales enablement.

**Experience/Knowledge Bank (Essential or Desired)**
- Data entry and coordination
- Exposure or hands on knowledge of sales and marketing and ops
- Knowledge and understanding of ERP systems (Example Netsuite)
- Understanding of sales and marketing systems and CRM (Example Hubspot)
- Understanding of GDPR and data regulations
- Appreciation of the importance of data integrity in business operations and success
- Research and investigation skills
- Experience or willingness of working cross-functionally
- IT literate, with an affinity towards systems and platforms

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
