**General Operator**
- **BSW Dalbeattie, DG5 4PL**:

- **2 Rotating Shift Pattern**

We have a fantastic opportunity for to join our workforce within our Green Mill operations at BSW Timber, Dalbeattie. As a Production Operator, you will contribute towards the creation of quality timber products - on time and to specification.

**_Specifically, some responsibilities of a General Operator in our Green Mill may include: _**
- Manual handling of timber.
- Operating state of the art sawmilling machinery.
- Working towards set production targets.
- Ensuring swift clean-up of any hazards including sawdust, oil spills, etc.
- Upholding the appropriate Health & Safety practices.

**_About you: _**

We’re seeking a motivated and hardworking individual who is quality focused and understands the value of the goods they are producing. A degree of flexibility will be required to ensure operations are maximised, maintained and quality targets are met with minimum wastage. In addition, you will have:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
- Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
- Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous.
