Loading Operative

Working for one of the UK's best-known brands, the Loading Operative will be working long term, with the opportunity for a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities:

- Load and unload trucks and trailers
- Handballing items ready for delivery
- Follow safety procedures to prevent injuries while performing heavy lifting and operating warehouse equipment
- Record loaded materials In accordance with established procedures
- Report any defects to the warehouse area or its equipment
- Cleaning up spillages

Essential Skills:

- Able to work to fast paced targets
- To be thorough and pay attention to detail
- Must be able to work on weekends
- The ability to work well with others
- To be flexible and open to change
- Physical skills like movement, coordination, dexterity
- The ability to work well with your hands
- Excellent verbal communication skills
