We have an opportunity for a Freelance School Community Musician based in Watford, Hertfordshire. The position is 1 day per week during term time only (38 weeks per year) at £170 per day.

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Delivering classroom group and individual community music sessions as part of a full day service in an SEN Primary School
- Managing and prioritising referrals
- Managing onsite relationships with both Classroom and Head Teachers
- Working flexibly with the service to meet their needs

**Person Specification**:
Essential requirements:

- Enhanced DBS check
- Confident and self-motivated individuals
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- A high level of vocal skills and keyboard and/or guitar skills, and confidence in using percussion instruments
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- A full driving licence with access to a vehicle or use of public transport is required

Desirable:

- Previous experience working in schools or with children and young people with physical and neurological impairments
