Part of Kohler Power Group, Clarke Energy is the authorised distributor and service partner for GE Energy’s gas-powered reciprocating engines, packaged generator sets and cogeneration units for power generation. Clarke Energy provides added value to the customer by acting as single point of contact from initial sale, engineering, project management, installation through to commissioning and long-term maintenance.

**Buyer Apprenticeship**:
***Clarke Energy’s Purchasing team strive to ensure we get the best value for the Company by selecting the right product on the basis of price, quality, and supplier reliability. We also endeavour to build partnerships and work with our suppliers to maximise our expertise and continually improve the service we provide. The department helps to source, introduce, and manage direct and indirect suppliers into the Clarke Energy supply chain. Our suppliers provide a range of global products and services from OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) engine parts, to subcontractor services and office supplies.

This is a 3 year apprenticeship development programme, designed specifically for someone who is looking to start their career in procurement. The structure of the learning is all online and you will be supported by Clarke Energy’s Purchasing department who will be able to guide and assist you, to develop your procurement capabilities. By the end of the apprenticeship, you will achieve an internationally recognised qualification in procurement and supply chain. This programme combines learning from two apprenticeships and includes the CIPS level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply.

**What we look for**:
We’re not necessarily looking for previous working experience of engineering - just commitment, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Hold grade C or above in GCSE Maths, English and Science (or equivalent).
- Hold a level 3 qualification already or have experience of writing reports
- Demonstrate strong verbal, written and communication skills.
- Have good IT skills.
